Your membership to the Dubuque County Historical Society supports the work of the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, the National Rivers Hall of Fame, the Old Jail Museum, the Mathias Ham House and the Ryan House. Your membership helps continue to build on a foundation that was established over 50 years ago to collect, preserve and share with present and future generations, the rich history of Dubuque, the Mississippi River and the rivers of America.
The Dubuque County Historical Society and the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium serve hundreds of thousands of people annually through its exhibits and programs, both on-site and outreach activities. Visitors come from all 50 states and more than 70 countries. All museum properties are accredited by the American Association of Museums.
