Overnight stay and activities at the museum with a sleep-over on the William M. Black.
Mighty Mississippi Overnight Adventure- Experience the Museum & Aquarium in a way you never have before! This program will allow students to have an unforgettable night while sleeping with the fish in the Museum.
Outreach programs to schools on environmental and/or historical themes.
Stewardship programs (volunteering, weeding in the wetland, seed collecting, chinking of the log cabin, sewing of cattail mats for the Native American dwelling)

Birthday Party Alternatives:

  • Victorian Birthday Parties - Find out what the proper etiquette is for a tea party along with a tour of the Mathias Ham House. Cream puffs and finger sandwiches will be served with tea or juice. Birthday cake/treats and gifts are permissible. Group rates are $10 per person with a minimum of 10 people per group.

  • Birthday Parties at the Museum & Aquarium - Birthday parties at the Museum & Aquarium include a one hour guided tour and a private live animal session! The birthday party continues in the Depot Cafè with combo meals. Groups are welcome to bring cake, treats, decorations (no balloons) and gifts. Prices are $10 per child for ages 3-6 and $12 per child for ages 7-12, with a minimum of 10 people per group.

  • Behind Bars at the Old Jail Museum - The birthday party will include scavenger hunts and gift bags. Groups are welcome to bring cake, treats, decorations (no balloons) and gifts. Prices are $7.50 per child ages 7-17 with a 10 people per group.
