	Outreach will be from November to March
	All Outreach programs are one hour in length
	The standard rate for mileage is $.60 per mile over 10 miles
	The museum will send the school a billing statement for the total amount owed.
	All programs may be booked starting at 10:00am

Mississippi River Life (grades K-4)
What does a river otter eat? How do frogs and toads swallow their food? What does an eagle sound like? The answers to these questions and more will be uncovered as we explore the animals living in and along the Mighty Mississippi River by touch, sight and sound. Be prepared to get up close and personal with one or two live specimens!

Rockin’ Reptiles and Awesome Amphibians (grades K-6)
Do you know the difference between a reptile and an amphibian? After this program you will! Be a herpetologist and explore hands-on the world of herps (collective name for reptiles and amphibians)! Learn about some of the different species living here at the aquarium and even have a few visitors stop by to help us learn more about them. You won’t want to miss it!

	This program will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ONLY

	This booking cannot last more than 4 hours (includes travel time)

Treasures of the Mississippi (grades 4-6)
From the muddy depths to the shallow streams, from the wooded shores to the high bluffs, the Mississippi River holds many treasures. Join us in exploring the world of fur traders and lead miners, lumberjacks and ice men, steamboat captains and clammers. Learn how humans have used the river through seasons of prosperity and seasons of change. All these treasures await you, and more!

Mammals of the Upper Mississippi River (grades K-8)
What has fur (or hair), bears live young, and has the ability to produce milk? If you guessed a mammal, then you're right! But wait. There's more! Mammals come in all shapes, colors and sizes and are very interesting creatures. This program will teach you the ins and outs of Mississippi river mammal identification and some interesting facts for you to share on these fascinating animals.

Furs-n-Lead: The Life of a Voyageur along the Mississippi River (grades 4-8)
A voyageur’s life was one of travel and trade, as they encountered both the Native American peoples and wildlife species along the Upper Mississippi River. Examine the role that furs and lead played in the lives of these historic individuals, including our city’s namesake, Julie Dubuque.
